Petmin announces the issue of 13,000,000 new ordinary shares of ZAR0.25 each in relation to an issue of shares for cash. These new ordinary shares were issued at ZAR2.60, being a 10% discount to the 30 day volume weighted average share price on 5 October 2007, pursuant to a subscription agreement entered into by the Company on that date.
The Company has applied for these new ordinary shares, together with the 15,073,602 new ordinary shares issued in relation to the acquisition announced by Petmin on 6 November 2007, to be admitted to trading on AIM, which is expected to occur on 19 December 2007.
Following the issue of these shares, the Company has 507,963,602 ordinary shares in issue.
